Vesuvianite (aka Idocrase) was discovered in 1795 on Mount Vesuvius in Italy. It is now found in multiple locations around the world.

Vesuvianite helps us to release pent up anger in a gentle way. It can help with overcoming your past with releasing feelings of restraint, dissolving anger, and alleviating fear and negativity.

To work with this stone carry it with you, especially when you might be in upsetting situations. Since this stone is associated with the heart chakra, you can also place it on your heart chakra during meditations or while doing shadow work to assist with releasing those negative emotions.
